Freschetta’s Gluten-Free Pizza Is EVERYTHING!

Hey Ya’ll,

Recently I had to go gluten-free because I developed, what I believe is an allergy to gluten later in life, (as in 3 months ago).  As you know,  this goes directly against my love for biscuits.  My main goal is to recreate the pizza and biscuit dough and taste of yore; but sometimes you just need to be able to throw something in the oven and GO! My husband loves pizza, and Luna could care less (at least fir right now).  So, it’s important for me to find substitutes that not only fit my expansive palette; but aren’t ahuge convenience in the everyday life of others! ENTER.FRESCHETTA’s Gluten Free. PIZZA!! Sure! I’ve tried countless other ready made crusts, but this?! THIS tastes just like traditional pizza, (even down to that wonderful tomato tang of their signature sauce!  SERIOUSLY YA’LL! This pizza though!!

The first thing you want to do is preheat your oven to 450 degrees F.

Please, please, PLEASE leave the pizza in the freezer until the oven is finished preheating, and you’re about to put the pizza in the oven (for the most delicious crust pictured here)

The pizza has a great texture (a common fallacy with gluten-free bread in comparison to breads with gluten. But, honestly, Freschetta outdid themselves! I’m absolutely floored with how amazing their pizza is!

Foodie Tip:  I add salt, pepper, garlic and onion to all my savory food, soooo feel free to add it either before or after you cook your pizza as well  In this case I sprinkled a little bit of Italian seasoning!

I like my crust a bit lighter, but my husband likes him with a bit more color, so I put his back in the oven on 450 degrees F again for another 3 minutes (or you can do this before cutting etc.) Again, this is TOTALLY not necessary, it’s just the way he prefers it.

When the dust cleared of people trampling me to get to the pizza… here is the little piece of heaven I had for dinner tonight!

I went to Target and saw they have Freschetta Gluten Free pizza in the pepperoni and cheese varieties, so definitely check them out when you have the chance! Talk soon!!
